It was not an article: AFAIK it was in either a Hints and Kinks, or that column which discussed 
Technical details, maybe Tech Talk ?

In any case, the nomograph was republished in Electric Radio Magazine for April 2021 on 
page 22.

I will try to find the two formulae I mentioned by searching my RSGB handbook and my
