[Heathkit] Heathkit Lever Knobs Wanted

That would be the way to do it, although I would re-design it so the lever arm was thicker. IMO this was a poor design and probably the most broken part on Heathkits. Back in the day I finally got fed up after I broke my third filter switch knob (back when you could still get them from Heathkit) on my HW-101 and adapted a chromed lever knob from a 70s vintage in-dash car radio. It never broke. Assuming that rig is still out there somewhere I would bet money that the knob is still intact.

I had to enlarge and round the hole a bit to fit the metal insert from the Heath knob but it worked like a charm.
