Hi, everyone.
After two and a half years of writing, I am very pleased to announce the all new third edition of Heathkit: A Guide to the Amateur Radio Products.
The difference between the new third edition and the two previous editions is a much greater level of detail, many more photos, and the addition of all clock and weather products.
By the numbers: more than 1000 photos and diagrams, more than 300 products, 426 pages, and 14 chapters. It is an inch thick and weighs 3 pounds. It includes an all-new 60-page introduction and history, and a foreword by former Heath Executive Vice President Chas Gilmore, W8IAI.
A set of tabs on the edge of page make finding chapters easy, and three separate indexes allow for exploration by model number, equipment type, or chronological order.
Without a doubt, it is the most ambitious project I have ever taken on. I would like to thank my team of technical advisors for their work in helping to make this book as accurate as possible. They are Bob Eckweiler, AF6C; Gerhard Wagner, DF1DA; George Misic, KE8RN; and Steve Gladstein, N8FH.
The new book is available now along with my other Heath books at: wa7zze.com. You can download PDF samples of all three books and place an order if you like.
Thanks es 73,
Chuck Penson / WA7ZZE
