Heath Power Supplies For Sale:
.
Heath SP-2718 "Tri Supply":
The Heath SP-2718 is usually referred to as a
"Tri Supply" as it is really three power supplies
in one. It is the Heath wired version of the
IP-2718 kit.
The SP-2718 has a fixed 5 volt supply at up
to 1.5 amps, plus two additional supplies
furnishing up to 20 V DC at up to .5 amps.
All of the supplies are floating above ground,
so they can be set as either positive or negative
supplies. The two 20 V supplies also have
tracking capabilities.
Regulation and ripple is terrific!
This particular supply works as it should (on
all three supplies), and looks fine as well.
These have sold for as high as $175 on ebay.
Buy this one with its manual for only $65.
.
Heath SP-27 Low Voltage Power Supply:
The Heath SP-27 is the factory wired version of
the IP-27 kit version. It is a lab type power supply,
with adjustable voltage and current limiting.
It has a large 3.5 inch meter that can be
switched to read current or voltage.
The current limiting is set in 50 ma, 150 ma, 500
ma, and 1.5 amp ranges, with a pot for fine
adjust. One can set to the current expected,
and not let the smoke out as easily.
Specs say the voltage is adjustable from 0.5 V
to 50 V in 5 V steps. A pot permits fine adjustment.
On this unit, the ranges above 20 V are somewhat
compressed, and maximum output is 36 V DC. We
used supplies like this for over 25 years at the
college where I taught. Most of them do this
compression as they age. It is of no consequence,
as very seldom would one use over 15 V, and it
is perfect in the lower ranges.
Buy this power supply, with manual, for only $60.
.
Heath IP-17 High Voltage Power Supply:
The IP-17 is a power supply designed to be used
with tube type equipment. It is a lab type
power supply.
It has filament voltages of 6.3 V AC at up to 4
amps, and 12.6 Volts at up to 2 amps. B+ voltages
up to 400 V DC at 100 ma continuous, 125 ma
intermittent. It also provides a bias voltage up
to 100 V DC at 1 ma.
It is well regulated and low ripple.
This one has not been used for quite some time.
I have not fired it up. It probably needs to
have some electrolytic capacitors replaced,
or at least checked.
Cosmetically, it looks fine. Buy it with manual
for only $75.
.
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories,
etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
