My best bud Ron is recommending the SNUBBER modification to protect the
switch.  He uses a .005 mfd 2KV disc cap and a 1 K ohm 5 watt resistor
connected across pins 4 and 5 of the function switch.  He is installing this
mod on his DX-60 restorations.  I will try it on the DX-60A I am currently
restoring.
