[Heathkit] Heathkit Green paint

The formulas, for the Heath "Apache" green, paint, as well as for other "boat anchor" paint colors, that I have gotten "computer matched" at Sherwin-Williams, can be found at the following URL:

Those formulas can be used by any GOOD paint store to match the colors.  Frankly, I do NOT trust any of the home improvement center paint departments to get a good match even when you give them the formulas!  A quart of these specially mixed paints is going to cost around $20, if not more, from a good paint store.

With any of these paints, you will need some type of applicator and an air compressor paint rig is the best.  There are various systems that generally work OK for small projects that are fairly inexpensive to implement.

I suppose if you could find a paint store that will mix you up a quart
you could take a lid off of some equipment in to their "magic eye" and
they can scan thee color for you.
(? from the inside that is not so faded ?)
You can buy paint sprayers that you load from a can.
