Meter for Heath SB-220 HF Amplifier:
The Heath SB-220 HF Linear Amplifier uses two meters.
One measures plate current, and the other measures
whatever is selected by the meter switch, which includes
grid current, high voltage, or relative power output.
Both of these meters are electrically the same, but have
a different scale on them, which can be changed. In
other words, one meter can serve either purpose.
I have very nice multi meter available. It works fine,
and looks extremely nice. This one has the multi scale
on it, but could be changed to plate current by using
the scale from your dead meter.
This is original Heath, complete with the hole for the
pilot bulb. These meters are quite scarce these days.
Buy this one for $80.

Matched pair of 572 B tubes
572 B tubes are used in the Heath SB-200 HF Amplifier.
This is a set of Taylor "Premium Grade Matched Tubes" from
RF Parts. They are new, in their original boxes. Since
these came from a silent key, I did remove them from the box
and test them in a SB-200 for a couple minutes.
Other than that they are unused. $125 for the pair.

Heath Power Supply Cable:
This six foot long 8 conductor cable has a female
11 pin "octal" connector on one end, and a 15 pin
rectangular Jones plug on the other. My memory
says that this cable is used with the Heath HP-13
DC supply which is used to power the SB-100/101/102,
HW-100/101, and the HW single banders for mobile use.
This one looks fine. Only $20.

Resistors for high voltage metering:
Do you have a linear amplifier that has an
error in the high voltage reading? Maybe you do
not even know it has an error!
Heath used three 4.7 meg resistors in the SB-220/221
and also in the SB-200/201 amplifiers. Almost all
of these resistors are out of tolerance today, partially
because of their age, but also because their voltage
rating was exceeded.
I was able to obtain a quantity of new resistors that
are 4.7 Meg, 1% tolerance, 2 watt, and are rated to
handle the high voltage. This compares to the original
resistors furnished by Heath that were 4.7 Meg, 5%,
1 watt and about 400 volts.
Note that these can be used in any amp that uses the
4.7 Meg resistors -- not just Heath amps.
