[Heathkit] SB-634 display brightness?

Hello!  My '634 works fine, BUT the 24-hour clock display digits are not as
bright as the Timer digits. No flickering or missing segments, just not as
bright. And the display on my SB-104A is brighter too. I can see the clock
OK in ambient light. The display SHOULD be brighter. Can someone give me an
idea where to start checking? Not the display drivers as they are doing
their job.
