Coaxial cables with a vinyl jacket are not suitable for exterior
service.
Coaxial cables with a polyethylene jacket are suitable for exterior
service.
I like and use "times LMR-200" but larger versions are available.
LMR-200 has less loss than RG-58, is thinner, lighter and stiffer.
I use crimp on PL-259 connectors, (PL-259 and SO-238) if you don't want
to buy the stripping and crimping tools you can buy "cut to length and
terminated lengths" from several companies.
(I crimp and solder the center pin on the male connectors.)
