Hi Howie
I have what is best described as large HC6/U cased crystals with half inch
spaced thick pins with frequencies of 10.500 and 10.521MHz parallel
resonant 30pF load capacitance.
I can send you a photo and test both items on a Type 193a crystal test set
if of interest. Probably made in the 1960s or 70s.

Hello people and Bry AF4K
So far I've received comments but nothing substantive. So I'll rephrase
the
rewuest
Specifically I'd like to procure crystals around 10.53 MHz.
I'll consider anything above 10.5 MHz that doubles and resonates in the 15
meter CW band.
These xtals will be used with my CONAR 400 CW transmitter.
Yes, the oscillator doubles and triples. Higher output and better stability
are realized when doubling.
Tank you Howie WA3MCK

Yes, I do have a pristine Conar 400.

I like the way this guy described it.
The Conar transmitter
The Conar 400 transmitter uses a single tube, a 6DQ6, as a
crystal-controlled powered oscillator and can transmit CW (continuous wave for Morse code)
on the 80, 40, and 15 meter ham bands. As a relatively simple transmitter,
it is known for having a signal that has a bit of character, a variation
in tone obvious on the receiving end.

Hi,
I have a complete Heathkit Apache that I have checked out on CW. It
should be recapped and the dial drum will not go on much longer. A list
member sells replacement dial drums. Is there any interest in acquiring
this transmitter as it sits? I would prefer local pickup. We can plug it
in and see that it works - even if it needs some TLC. And I will have
help picking it up <grin>.
I wou_ld like to see it move on to a new home where it will actually live
on the air as it was meant to. I have given up on finding a matching
receiver that I can afford. That means in driving distance from my
northern Michigan QTH. Somebody talk to me?
If nobody wants it as is I will recap it, replace that dial drum
(standby Glen), and use it some more. Or sell it in more desirable
condition.
73,
Bill KU8H
