[Heathkit] Dx100 and 100B difference

The DX-100B came with the continuously variable antenna loading whereas the DX-100 had fixed capacitors switched with a much smaller variable capacitor. Heath came out with a modification kit for the original DX-100 to change to the completely variable loading. DX-100 transmitters such modified were sometimes called a DX-100A.
The DX-100B has only 1-crystal position and that is activated by a slide switch accessible through the door in the top of the cabinet. The DX-100 had 4-crystal positions that were switched from the front panel.
There were 3-capacitor values changed (minor differences) in the 10-meter section of the 5763 driver stage. This was done to increase drive on the 10-meter band. There was an article in QST giving details on changing those capacitors in the original DX-100 transmitters.
Otherwise, electrically the same.

Subject: [Heathkit] Dx100 and 100B difference
Can anyone tell me what the difference was between the DX100 and the DX100B besides the cabinet?
Thanks
