The 6DQ6 is rated at 770-volts continuous duty and the 807 at 750-volts under load.


Remember, the 6DQ6 was used as the horizontal output tube in a lot of tube-type television sets and ran for a goodly amount of time every day.


Both tubes should be able to take the 815-volts when in standby.  Also, when the power supply is actually supplying current to the lower stages of the transmitter, the B++ (815-volts) will drop a bit due to the load on the transmitter primary.

Thank you Glen,A pair of 6DQ6B tubes is use din one rig. An 807 is used in the other.Do I really want 815V DC on the plates when un-keyed?
