The Millen 90651A is better than the 90651 because it has a gain control which makes things easier.

The Heathkit GDO is nice as it is small. I prefer The Millen GDO's. I own
the 90651(tube type) and the 90652(Transistor type). I am also lucky
enough to have the full set of Low Frequency coils and all the
accessories. They are build like tanks and have width stood the test of
time well.
