Hi Bill,

Yep!  I don't go to the big box stores for much of anything really useful!

I prefer the Mom and Pop Ace hardware Store.  First - They DO know what 
they are talking about.  Second - Everything isn't "all" made in China.  
I still find a bunch of things still made in the USA.

I even managed to buy an entire spool of 3/8" nylon rope, and they did 
calculate the cost by the foot, then took 10% off the total. Didn't even 
ask for a break.

I prefer those kind of places over those that no one knows anyone else 
in the store, or has no idea what they are selling.

When it comes down to a big ticket item such as a 48" LED flat panel TV, 
I do go to Costco.  They charge less than even Wal-Mart for the same 
product.  Then they add an extra year of warranty to top it off.

I did get the new stand for it from Wal-Mart.  It is all steel frame.  
It is overkill for the TV, but I don't have to go buy a mount and tie in 
to the wall like I did upstairs for a 42".  That one swings back and 
forth, side to side, and I don't remember what any longer.  That 42" is 
the same brand name as the 48", but it weighs more.

I can't keep up!
