[Heathkit] SB-100 TX audio gain question

Sandy,

It makes me think their is an impedance mismatch between the Mic and the 
mic audio chain.

Try an old Rat Shack audio transformer.

If you don't have one, holler and I am sure that either one will turn 
up, or another impedance matching transformer will turn up or be offered.
