The HP-24 won't run from your vehicle, it has a 120 / 240 VAC input.  Now, the HP-14 is another matter!  It does require a 13.8 VDC input 25 amperes average, 50 amperes peak. Glen, K9STH

I bet that HP24 requires a healthy, large alternator in your  car! Rice boxes need not apply. 1000 watts plus heaters and car accessories such as lights. Probably needed a 100 amp alternator!
