Bob,
I agree with you. I have frequently purchased hardware on eBay that I
have not been successful in finding anywhere else. Case in point; on
several occasions I have needed extender cards to work on a couple of
pieces of HP test gear and found them on eBay at not unreasonable
prices, at least I thought they were not unreasonable. Most recently,
an extender card for my 5245L frequency counter for $15.
