[Heathkit] alignment of sb-303

             Started to do a complete alignment on my Sb-303,following the book on the no test gear alignment. Every thing went normal 80,40, 20 and 15. Going to 10 meters could faintly hear the 100 kc tone and could get next to nothing increase working with the coils for ant and RF coils. they do work in the sebce they I can lower the signal ,but not peak the signal. 
       When going back to normal operation of the rig the pre selector is sharp and defined 80  to 20 meters, not so much on 15 and no peak of any kind on 10 meters, any position. Could this have any thing to do with the HET osc adjustments which I have not done yet?
        Just looking for a push in the right direction .
