The circuitry between the DX-100 and DX-100B consists of a change in capacitor value in the 10-meter driver stage, the change from 4-crystals to 1-crystal, the change from the 150 pf variable capacitor with switched, fixed capacitors, in the antenna loading (the modification for this is in the information listed above), and a different cabinet.

DX-100 units that had the antenna loading changes were unofficially called DX-100A.  This is one of the reasons that the next version was called the DX-100B

Hello Group , I aquired a DX 100 B and am looking for a souce for a proper manual or direction to find one . 
I understand there are some wiring differences between the a and b models .Also, mine seems to have the official push button mod for freq spotting and improved keying . I am a newbie to troubleshooting and might seek a local ham to help.
