Folks,
Two more saying their piece.
I can't help but to chime back in.
The Human Species is overwhelmingly burdened with flaws that all of us
need to really take another look inside. I try not to judge others. I
don't always succeed as well as I should.
I look around the part of the country I live in, Manassas, VA, and it is
a real eye opener. I see the antics, the attitudes, and actions. I
wonder where our OWN society is going!
Then watch news of any type that you so desire. The things we observe
in the whole world are astounding!
The Chinese pt up a huge mural in their capitol. Why? So their people
can take pictures of friends, tourists, or whomever, and NOT see the
amount of pollution! Seriously? Even those that use it are fooling
only themselves.
I've been to some number of countries, I've experienced all their
different cultures, I give no thought to anyone's religous beliefs or
practices.
I am now at the age of 64. Okay, to many I'm a youngster. I remember
when if you did anything you weren't supposed to be doing, the phone had
already clued in your parents. You figured out real quick what was
right and what was wrong.
Spanking WAS the norm! I can't even begin to remember the number of
times I earned one.
School systems in the South would take you outside and tear up your
backside with a REAL hard wooden paddle.
I just don't know any more. Parents howl at the school when their
youngster gets a bad grade. Is there any wonder in the state of our
education system?
I'm going to quit. Otherwise I'll get all up in a dither.
Time to get off my soapbox. The majority of us in this hobby,
especially those of us that take pleasure of tubes, understand what I
speak of.
