[Heathkit] HG-10B dial bezel

    I recently acquired a very restoreable HG-10B from a list member. Thanks John!   I just got the dial drum string restrung. Getting ready to put the front back on it.
The plastic bezel had come off of it. Looking in the contruction manual I see that it was secured by melting the little tabs with a soldering iron or something hot. These
are, of course, broken off even with the panels they go through, so I can’t remelt them. 
Before I resort to super glue or gorilla snot ot some such, what methods have others used to do this? Looking at HG10’s on ebay it seems this is a very common problem.
