[Heathkit] SB-401 intermittent relay operation

Good morning list. I have a few pieces of Heathkit gear around here-
SB-301/401, IP-27 power supply, IT-17, GB-1B, QF-1 and various
parts chassis, etc.

The SB-401 has a problem with a very sluggish c/o relay. If I remember
correctly, it is sometimes completely dead after power on, but
gradually warms up. It always seems sluggish, though. I use the pair
in CW mode although I don't think this behavior depends on the mode.

Would appreciate advice. The way that the VOX circuitry is used in the
T/R switching isn't very clear to me.
