Hello Gary,
The most basic rule of economics is that something is worth what someone is
willing to pay for it. So what seems like an unreasonable price to me, may
be fine to someone else-particularly if the someone else happens to be a
nostalgic old fool like myself!
Determining an asking price for the survivors of an SK is tricky, because we
would like to get the most that we can for the members of the family.
Perhaps asking for comments from the reflector for that brand might be at
least a starting place. I have a piece of Kenwood gear to sell, and I'm
going to subscribe to the Kenwood list and ask for pricing advice from the
guys that are knowledgeable about equipment of that brand.
