[Heathkit] SB-104 which has been "A'd...

Sandy,

That is not a typo!
On the original SB-104 that switch was used to blank the hundreds of Hz digit on
the display. I believe that if you had a CW filter installed in the original
SB-104 it was always in the circuit in CW mode.

When the SB-104A came out, that switch function was changed to select the 400Hz
CW filter, if installed, in CW mode. On SB-104A front panels that switch is
labelled "400Hz" if I recall.

Bill

Hello, gang!

My '104A started out as a 104 and had the A mods done. There's something on
the front panel that may be a typo?

There's a button next to the NB button which is labeled "100Hz". Not 400Hz.
I don't operate CW, so I haven't ever tried this option. Is this where the
CW Filter's supposed to be? What's with this "100Hz"? My radio came with
104A Manuals, so that only shows a 400Hz label.

Typo or what?
