[Heathkit] problems with 104a

                        I was working on my 104a today,all seemed normal. Haven't had the rig running in a year or so.  noticed on key down the rig was only putting out about 60 watts into a load. last time did EASY 95+. THE POWER SUPPLY METER SHOWS ABOUT 21 AMPS ON KEYDOWN.   I then hit the  tune button, side tone comes on but no carrier either on the rigs meter or down stream watt meter.  switching to ssb the mic drives the rig on peaks of 40-50 watts. Can anyone suggest  a area to look at  concerning the low power output and the no carrier output in tune ,hi or low.  Iam a tube guy , and the ss,104  is hard for me to get my head around. all other controls and the receiver are great. I have the full manual ,but haven't started with that yet.  made a coupla of qso's , audio good  and decent report for 60 watts.
