Sandy,

Thank you for posting that.  I have the same problem, and other than fixing 
the darned microphone jack that seems to want to twist around, I could see 
nothing wrong.  I'll try your fix, as CW output is wonderful, little to no 
transmit audio.

I've been waiting to see if anyone gave you and answer, but yours seems 
logical to me.
