[Heathkit] TV-7 Data for Compactrons

I've got an SB-301 receiver that uses a 6AS11 and an SB-610 station monitor
that uses a 6J11.
I've also got a TV-7 transconductance tube checker.
Both of these tubes are compactrons, developed long after the TV-7 went into
(an probably out of) service.
While I can build an adapter to accommodate the 12-pin socket and I can
figure out the tube pin settings for the TV-7, I haven't the slightest idea
how to select the right bias and shunt values, the setting of the RANGE
switch and the expected meter reading.
(1) Does anybody have information on how to set up the TV-7
using the characteristics data from a tube manual (which I have)?
(2) From what I remember RCA used to make many of their dual
tubes by putting together some of their favorite singles. For example, a
12AU7 is just two 6C4s in one envelope. Did they do this with the 6AS11 and
the 6J11? If so, what were the components?
(3) I heard that the owners manuals for some of the Heathkit
tube checkers had a section on testing unlisted tube types. Would this help?
Can someone shoot me a copy of that section?
