[Heathkit] Bobs Dilemma

Somebody please tell me WHERE *I* said don't buy an unopened kit!

Never said that!

I'd just as soon buy an old used SB-102, HP-23, and SP-600.

I started with one in 1980 when I got licensed. I believe it went for
around $200 or $250.

At that time in my life, I was still in uniform on duty with Uncle Sam.

I'd sooner have an SB-102 as listed above, and go through it and get it
up to snuff.

I have done this with a BC-610, a T-213, a Northern Radio SP-600, and
have a '51 contract Collins R-390A on the bench being restored.

Some "one" CLAIMED that just because I hadn't made a comment until today
- that I had NOT been following the thread.

Let's see, my Email shows that John, W4THQ, pointed out that this was on
E-Bay.

I indeed have been following the ENTIRE thread. Just didn't see any
reason to make a comment.

So tell me WHERE I ruffled your or anybody's feathers?

But for gosh sakes don't bust on somebody else because they choose to pay that much for an unopened kit. DUH..it's a free country man. Nobody's twisting anyone's arm to buy anything but support my right to do so if I choose or anyone elses for that matter. move on.
