Let me further clarify. The TC-1 and TC-2 use the same chart. IT-17,
IT-21, and IT-3117 use a different chart. My comparison was made with a
TC-1/TC-2 chart dated February 1977 and a IT-17/21/3117 chart dated
1975/76. Even the filament selector voltage setting for checking for
continuity or short tests is different in both charts.

Not true for many tubes. Although the "Type", "Fil.", and "Plate" values
are fairly consistent or close for tubes that are listed in both charts,
the settings for the "A through K" lever switches are not. Out of thirty
random samples of tubes numbers between both charts, only three of them
had the same position settings of the lever switches. Unless you want to
play mystery roulette with the testing of your tubes, I would use the
appropriate chart for your tube tester.
