Hi all, new member here, I just powered up a nice HW-101 I bought about 5 years ago, it works well, except that the audio volume drops from (loud) normal to a very low level within about 2 seconds of warm up. I need to leave the volume on full. A very strong signal is audible but less strong signals can get very soft to the point of inaudibility, kind of like when you switch off the AGC in a receiver. Got some tubes coming for it but off hand does anyone have any idea where I should start looking? I've gotten good reports on the audio and strength of the signal. Speaker is fine.
