I don't mess with the Girl Rooms. I don't store auto parts in there.
There is no battleship gray paint in there. I haven't seen a bench vise
in there lately, either. Etc, etc, etc. I do help her out in there if
she asks. I can reach the curtain rods and she can't. In that space she
calls all the shots.

Actually she used to come and visit me in my lair. Now that her health
is failing she can't. She has some places where she does most of her
living and until recently I had the barns and other outbuildings (we
moved off the farm). I don't invade Her space and She doesn't invade
mine. That arrangement has worked well for us since we started together
about 35 years ago,

And we DO have common ground, too.
