Actually Heath had two  transmitters before the AT-1. One was a 1 watt 80 meter CW unit from surplus Army Walkie-Talkie parts, sold for $3.95. The other, a 25 watt unit that covered 80-40-20-10 meters for $19.50.

Finding one of these would be a real find.
