My concern is with the 301 ,and that it is such a simple receiver it is very touchy to tune in ,dead on. Unlike the drake ,with its notch and band pass tune control. Has any one ever come up with a RIT control for the heath? In fact any mods for receiver improvement. maybe the same for the 401.

Hi Dale,

I don't have manuals for your Heath Twins so maybe Heath Twins are
different from "other" twins. I have Kenwood Twins. The receiver does
have RIT *BUT* - with two VFOs why is RIT needed? I don't use mine. If I
could I would sell it to you for just the cost of shipping. With twins
we get the best of both worlds - transceiver and separates. Are the
Heath Twins 'different'?
