[Heathkit] Identifying PTT mod in my DX 100B

I have a DX 100 B that I am refurbishing that has a modification for PTT. It uses a 6.3VAC transformer and associated components to get 6.3 vdc. to energize the transformer.

I am trying to find the magazine article that the circuit was probably used to install in the DX 100B. I have QST mags, CQ mags, from the 1950s , issues of  Ham Radio mag for several years  and Electric Radio magazine from issue 1 to the latest issue. I am in hopes that someone can direct me to the most popular PTT mods for the DX 100 and DX 100B.

This DX 100B has apparently been used with the SB10.

The mod in my DX 100B has two wires from the relay (an enclosed KUP type plugged into in a socket) . It appears that the relay was placed in parallel with the transmit switch to allow the mike PTT to perform the functions of the "transmit" switch.

If any of you "old timers" like me might recollect such an article, I would appreciate it if you could direct me to it. Isuspect such an article might be in Electric Radio magazine. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. 73, John, K5PGW
