For several weeks I had been working on a Heath MT-1 and MR-1 set of twins.
With your help, I was able to get the power supply and receiver working in
fine shape. The transmitter had some problems. Again, with your help I was
able to round up the parts to fix the transmitter. I had not started on it,
just had it all ready.

Last night someone who really really wanted those radios was by the house.
And although I may regret it, I handed it off to him. To me, they were just
something to play with. To him, he really wants to put them on the air in
AM. So I let him buy me out for what I had into them. I did have to
promise him to help finish the transmitter, he is not familiar with tubes.
<grin>.

Watch for KD6CUB to be coming up on AM over the next several months.

I thank you-all for the help, the manual pages copied, the parts, and the
knowledge that enabled me to take that as far as I did.

Now the great news. My wife and son are after me to sell my ICOM station,
IC-781, matching solid-state amp, antenna tuner, speaker, mic, the works.
They promised to go halves on a new Yaesu FTDX-5000 for Christmas. So I
still have plenty of stuff to dust off and sell. Anyone collect vintage
ICOM?

Thanks so much for your help folks. As most hams are, you guys are great.
