Someone needs a refresher course in distilling spirits! (Chuckle!)

There is the infamous 'one time' Scotch called "Neat". Not sure the name is 
correctly spelled, but you get the drift.

All those charred White Oak once used barrels by Jim Beams and Jack Daniels 
are taken apart, packed up and shipped to the Irish and Scotish distillers. 
Bourbon can only be made/aged in our White Oak barrels one time. When it 
comes to Bourbon, that is the law!

How exactly did this list drift from well aged capacitors and roasted 
resistors to distilling spirits?
