[Heathkit] Width of Heath Warrior chassis

Can someone give me the width of the Heath Warrior chassis (not cabinet)?

I am looking for a Warrior to rack-mount above my rack-mounted 
Marauder.  With the Marauder, I had to drill and tap holes in the 
rack since Heath, in their infinite wisdom, chose not to put the 
front panel mounting holes in standard spacings.  I also had to grind 
about 1/8" of metal from the inside edges of the rails because the 
Marauder chassis was just a tiny bit too wide... in fact it is 
precisely 17.75" wide which could almost be forced to fit except that 
there are some screw heads that stick out too far.  I need to know if 
I need to do the same with the Warrior (I know I'll have to drill and 
tap the holes, need to know about having to grind more metal from the 
insides of the rails).
