[Heathkit] SB104 Questions and Parts

Hello List,

Refurbishing two SB104A radios, been a lot of fun thus far.

Question:

Since these have been sitting for probably 20 years, the Jackson drives in the VFO are really bad shape. I tried to soak them in solvent to loosen them up, and re-lube, but that just made it worse. Now they are too loose and still warble too much. 
What is the best way to bring these back to life and what lube is used?
