[Heathkit] My Earlier Post

Hi,

All of us, including "engineers" have some weak places. Whenever *I*
have expressed an idea that had a few flaws (okay sometimes I have
called green as "sky blue pink") they can be pointed out. I have an
opportunity to review my 'beliefs' and usually get a better picture of
how things really are. I can ask the pointer outer "what about" this or
that or the other thing. Most of the time more than one of us gets a
better picture of how things actually work.

I have worked with other "engineers". They don't always get it right,
either. Highly educated, very sophisticated people (physicians) have
been known to get it terribly wrong. They used to let out our bad blood
in an effort to heal us. If all of our blood was bad...

And once upon a time the clergy were the most educated people on earth.
Their leader declared the earth is flat and persecuted (even executed)
anybody who said otherwise. How's THAT for chastisement? Civil discourse
has sorted out a lot of those things. Uncivilised discourse proved
*nothing* and resolved nothing.

Please don't be afraid of your engineer admirer and speak right up on
here. That's what 'right here' is for.

73,

Bill KU8H
