I think he left out the part that opening an email _with_ a
subject can also infect your computer with a virus. Connecting
your computer to the internet can infect your computer with a
virus.
I haven't heard of any viruses transmitted via Amateur packet
though... Especially when they are connected using Heathkit
radios (obligatory Heathkit content). ;-)
Hmmm... Did Heathkit ever make a TNC?
