[Heathkit] DX-40 Pwr Xfmr

The DX-40 power transformers failed quite often with a line voltage of 110 VAC!  Heath just ran the transformers "on the ragged edge" and quite a number failed after just a few weeks.  The power transformer in the DX-35 was even worse!  It was definitely overloaded.

Hi Bill:    With a line voltage of 125 volts. That pretty much says why the
transformer failed.
Regards,
Gary
