Live and learn Ronnie and none of my feathers were ruffled. Just a simple
lesson in the power of the Internet. And BTW Ive been using that diode for
decades for all sorts of balanced modulator and demodulators and can
remember when they were about $3 each in the mid 80's. I cant count how many
times Ive used them to replace germanium diodes and tubes in AM and product
detectors from 30's boatanchors to 90's riceboxes. Used 4 yesterday in a
customers 60's National HRO-500 to replace the pair of germaniums in the
product detector......so much less distortion.

Mouser is always my first place to look and set the benchmark to beat.
