[Heathkit] Warrior as a rack-mount

Couple of questions for any of you who may have tried to rack-mount a
Warrior without its cabinet.

1. Is the cabinet an integral part of the shielding so that if I try
to run it outside the cabinet, the shielding will be compromised and
interference to other services might result? I found this to be an
issue with the DX-100 but not with the Marauder which has its own
internal shielding.

2. When I rack-mounted my Marauder, I found that the chassis, and
the screw heads from some mounting screws, were too wide to fit in
the rack, and I had to grind off about 1/8" from each rail in the
rack to make it fit. Am I likely to run into the same problem with
the Warrior?

I'm aware that the holes in the front panel do not line up with the
standard holes in a rack (sure would like to know WHY Heathkit did
this...). I had to drill and tap some new holes in the rack to match
up with the Marauder and will do the same for the Warrior (if/when I get one).

Thanks...
