[Heathkit] DX-60 Final Amplifier Tube Question

Mine came with a 6146W replacement in it and its still there working fine 
many years later.

There is a big difference between Class C and AB1 which I guess is where 
some rigs are fussy.
My Viking II is fine with 6146B's, plug and play.
