Is the POWER light on the front panel ON??  Was it ON, or has it been dead for a while?

It sounds like the BIAS supply has failed, bad caps or diode.  Should be about -40VDC on the grid of 
the PA tube in the PHONE position.  The supply should show about -130 VDC at the junction of R30, 
R33 and the - of C37, C38.
