[Heathkit] DX-100 Large Knobs

I am in need of some large DX-100 knobs.  (Also used on DX-60).  I know of a 
guy in California who makes quality replacement knobs, name escapes me right 
now.  I have bought knobs from him before but he always needed a picture as 
he can't ever seem to remember what knob fits any particular radio.  This is 
a real pain when dealing with him.  (I am not sure if he ever made any 
DX-100 large knobs).  However,  I recently heard his knob business is on 
hold.  I am not sure how true this is.

Is there anyone on here knowing this guy and if it is true his business is 
on hold and if he ever made the large DX-100 knobs?
