Thanks for sharing, Glen. :-)
I had never seen the "Transmitter Service and Maintenance Hints".
That musta been a perk of living so close to Heathkit heaven. Hi Hi.

Subject: [Heathkit] DX-100 official modification and transmitter service
information
I have been asked several times in the past couple of weeks for information
on various official modifications (Heath recommended) as well as things like
the tube pin voltages (which are not included in the manual) and general
transmitter servicing information. This information was gathered over 50
years ago when I had my first DX-100. Some of this information was widely
distributed but other information was not widely distributed. However, all
the information came directly from Heath (when growing up I lived about 35
miles from the Heath plant on Hilltop Road in St. Joseph, Michigan).
I have added a link on my website with all of the official Heath
modification information on the DX-100 that I have. Also included is the
tube voltage information and a Heath pamphlet on general transmitter
servicing.
