One would certainly think so.  I'm somewhat surprised this one 
developed a short like it did, would think that would be pretty 
rare.  RF Parts advertises these things for $12 each so hopefully 
that means they have a warehouse full of NOS tubes.  We'll see...

My objective in all of this was to build a replica of my very first 
ham station that was given to me by my father... a DX-100 and a 
gutted-and-rebuilt Hammarlund SP-400.  When I was first licensed in 
1964, my code proficiency was pretty poor, so when my dad gave me his 
DX-100, he took out the modulator tubes and wouldn't give them back 
to me until I got my code speed up.  So I guess this station is 
shaping up to be a lot more like my first station than I thought it 
would be!  :-)
