[Heathkit] Mic connector for DX-100

If you don't locate one of the old Amphenol connectors then do this:

Take a PL-259, cut off the center pin so that it is about  1/4th inch long.  Connect the center of the microphone cord to the pin and the shield to the shell of the connector.  Use a reducer to make things pretty.

The PL-259 out shell fits the Amphenol connector perfectly.  All that you have to do is to get the center pin a little bit shorter.

Anybody know where I can buy a mating microphone connector for the 
DX-100?  It's the screw-on connector that uses a single concentric 
connection, just for audio and ground (no PTT).  There are no pins or 
receptacles; each end has what looks like a solder blob in the middle 
and they just press against one another to make contact.
