The Eimac 250TH with the plate structure that looks like an alien city in a
bottle would look really cool, I think.

A word about "dark" 3-500Zs; a known failure mode is the filament pins
desoldering themselves from insufficient cooling. Resoldering them with good
high-temp solder could result in a perfectly good tube that will put out rated
power. Lots of info on the internet about this.

I wouldn't mind finding a genuinely bad 3-500 myself, for my display.
